This Good Fortune Spell is quite easy to do and you can change it to suit your needs or desires, also don’t panic if you don’t have the exact requirements, use what you have, use your intuition.
A Good Fortune Spell should be performed on a Thursday as this day is in association with wealth, money, prosperity and abundance.
Preferably around the time of the Full Moon, can be the three days leading up to, on the Full Moon, or the three days after the Full Moon.
The things you will need are as follows:
- A green candle, any size (even a green tea-lite will do), any shade of green is ok.
- Dragons blood or Sandlewood incense stick (or a strong smelling incense)
- A peice of green cloth, preferably cotton, (big enough to wrap up some herbs and coins)
- Herbs of Lavender, Rosemary, Marigold and Saffron (all of these are good, but 2 will suffice)
- Three silver coins
- Half a teaspoon of rock salt
- A silver ribbon or thread
As with all spell casting, find some-where you will not be disturbed, as I’m a night owl I tend to do my work in the early hours of the morning when everyone is in bed! Cast your circle or simply sit on the grass and envisage a circle of white light protection around you and spread your ingredients out in front of you. Light the candle and incense, pick up the coins and hold them up to the light of the candle and think or say what you need. wave the coins through the incense smoke three times each time saying;
“Hear my prayers, hear what I say, please bring this money my way.” “Hear my prayers, hear my plea, To the Universe, I thank thee.”
Then lay your green cloth out and place your coins on it followed by the mixed herbs and rock salt. Bring the corners of the cloth together and tie up with ribbon/thread. If the ribbon is long enough, tie three seperate knots in it.
Sit quietly for a little while and meditate on your spell, then leave your spell package somewhere safe under the moonlight for the night, bring it in the following morning and carry it with (if possible) for three to five weeks.
If you are unable to carry it with you, then ensure you pick it up and hold it for a few minutes every day. The main thing to remember is not to stress over whether or not you have done it right and if it will work, do your Good Fortune Spell, hand it over to the Universe/Goddess and forget about it.
